Every car has a story, and around here, every story gets a ball-themed nickname. What started with one Miata and a few questionable financial decisions has grown into a collection of race cars, rally cars, show cars, tow rigs, and trailers—each with its own personality, purpose, and chapter in the Ball Pit Motorsports story.
Some Balls are built to chase trophies. Some exist to teach new drivers. Others simply make race weekends possible. A few have even moved on to new homes, but they'll always be part of the family. Cheese Ball — 1994 Spec MiataCheese Ball is the newest addition to the Ball Pit Motorsports racing stable—a yellow 1994 1.8L Spec Miata built for wheel-to-wheel competition. Spec Miata is one of the purest forms of racing, where close battles, driver skill, and racecraft matter more than horsepower. Low Ball — 2008 Mazdaspeed3 Rally CarLow Ball started as a $1,500 Facebook Marketplace find and became a budget-friendly rally machine built around one simple idea: dirt makes you a better driver. Designed to teach car control, have fun, and keep costs low, Low Ball brings the Ball Pit Motorsports philosophy to the loose stuff. Available for rental at Eagles Canyon Raceway's rally track during member and select event days. |

The Ball Caddy - 18' Car HaulerBall Caddy is the unsung hero of Ball Pit Motorsports. This 18-foot open trailer hauls the fleet from track to track, packed with tools, spares, air, power, and everything needed to keep race weekends rolling. It may never turn a lap, but without Ball Caddy, none of the other balls make it to the starting grid. |

Not every Ball is for rent. Some are simply part of the family. These are the personal projects, dream cars, tow rigs, and support vehicles that keep Ball Pit Motorsports rolling. They each have a job to do, a story to tell, and a permanent parking spot in the Ball Pit.

Meat Ball - 2024 Tundra LimitedMeat Ball is our 2024 Toyota Tundra built to tow, explore, and occasionally get a little dirty. Outfitted for hauling race cars and light off-road adventures, Meat Ball is the workhorse of the fleet—because race cars don't magically appear at the track. |

Snow Ball - 1998 JDM Import Type R EK9Snow Ball is a 1998 JDM Honda Civic Type R EK9, imported from Japan and powered by its original B16A engine. Unlike the rest of the fleet, Snow Ball isn't built for lap times—it's a rolling piece of Honda history. You'll usually find it at Cars & Coffee, local meets, or putting a smile on our faces every chance it gets. |
🏆 Gone, But Still Balling
Every Ball leaves its mark. These cars have moved on to new owners, but they'll always be part of the Ball Pit Motorsports story. They taught us how to wrench, how to race, and in some cases, how to become slightly less terrible drivers. Without these Balls, the ones you see today wouldn't exist.

The First Ball - 2021 ND2 MX-5The First Ball is where Ball Pit Motorsports truly began. This heavily modified 2021 ND2 Mazda Miata was my first track car, my first real project, and the car that taught me everything from driving on track to turning wrenches in the garage. Though it's no longer in the family, it will always be the car that started the Ball Pit. |

Blue Ball - 2020 X3 XRS Short Course SxSBlue Ball was our introduction to the world beyond the pavement. Built by Miller Brothers Racing in Texas, this modified Can-Am Maverick X3 X RS opened the door to off-road adventures, jumps, mud, and plenty of sideways moments. Though it's been sold, Blue Ball proved that going fast doesn't always require asphalt. |
